Funding

The Croatian Medicines Verification System is funded by fees paid by Marketing Authorisation (MA) holders whose product data will be held in the national repository. HOPAL’s running costs will be also funded by MA holder fees.

MA holders, wholesalers and pharmacies must pay the costs of their own internal changes, including changing packaging, installing scanners, upgrading software systems, etc.
